10 questions with … Lucky Daniels
1. What were you doing career wise before starting in porn?
Career wise before I started in porn was already a decade ago. 10 years has flown by LOL, but I was bartending and going to a D3 college in Wisconsin.
2. What drew you in to wanting to be involved in this industry?
It was actually kind of a fluke that I got involved in porn. At the time I lived in Wisconsin and wanted to find a modelling agent so I googled online and came across this site. I got a reply back from Randy of Randyblue.com himself, inviting me to film a solo video.
I told him I’d like a little time to think about it, so I got out a sheet of paper and drew a line down the middle. On one side was Pro’s and the other Con’s, because I know at that point in my life that any decision you make in life you need to be willing to take the bad with the good. The pro’s slightly outwieghted the con’s and the rest is history.
3. What has been the funniest thing that has happened to you on set?
Gosh, there have been so many, funny outtake type moments that have happened on set but I’d have to say that it was with the crew for Randyblue. I was so naive, having grown up in Wisconsin, that I had a scene with a guy that was uncut. I took the crew aside and asked them “what’s wrong with his dick?”.
They told me that he was uncut and I was like ‘Ohhh, so that’s what uncut is’. They asked me what I thought I was and I said that I always guessed cut because they never taught me about different penises in Human Growth and Development at school and I figured I had a 50/50 chance at guessing correctly.
4. What has been your favourite scene you have filmed so far and why?
I’d have to say my favourite scene I’ve filmed so far has been ‘Anthony’s Weener’ because my scene partner was easy and great to work with, and the concept was really fun to act with.
5. Who has been your favourite scene partner and why?
I’ve had so many amazing scene partners over the years, but if I had to pick one I’d pick Reese Rideout because he’s such a kind and genuine guy, along with his wife, and he took my virginity in my first duo video for Randyblue.
6. Is there anyone that you would like to work with?
The only people that I can think of that I know of that I’d love to work with are Sebastian Kross, Stu from SeanCody, Brandon from Corbin Fisher, many of the Belami guys and Taylor Reign.
7. What advice do you have for anyone wanting to start out in this industry?
The best advice I have for anyone wanting to start out in this industry is to never sell yourself short and feel obligated to do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.
I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing and caring porn companies/directors and the great ones want you to do what’s within your comfort level. Also, to keep your porn alias and real life persona seperate, so you don’t ever get an identity crisis and stay focused on your goals and dreams.
8. What is something your fans would be surprised to know about you?
A fun fact that my fans would be surprised to know about me is that I prefer to top in my personal life. I’m a versatile top, but since I predominantly bottom in my scenes I think that surprises most people when they meet me.
9. When not shooting porn what do you like to do in your spare time?
When not shooting porn I enjoy working out, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, going to to EDM concerts and other events, traveling, volunteer work/protest marching and some reading/online shopping. I’m sure I forgot a few things but there’s a little bit of my laundry list.
10. Last question, who is your ‘gay porn crush’?
My gay porn crush would have to be Sebastian Kross or Kris Evans.
